The BID have met with the Police about the level of crime in our town centre and how this affects businesses. The Police have offered to host a meeting on Monday 27 November for retailers to discuss how we can work together to tackle business crime.
The meeting will cover several aspects, including crime prevention, staff safety and Town Link radios – with an input from our radio suppliers. It will be a chance to get together to talk openly and honestly about the issues you face.
If you are a town centre retailer and would like to attend, please contact Gina on gina@bishopsstortfordbid.co.uk.
Due to limited space, we are just inviting retailers to this meeting, and in the new year will be hosting another session for hospitality and hair & beauty businesses.
