The Government has confirmed that from Saturday 19 December all of Hertfordshire will be moved to Tier 3. This means more restrictions for us, and the closure of our entertainment and hospitality businesses. We know this will have a devastating impact at this time of year. Support Grant
There is a support grant available for businesses who have been asked to close. This will once again be administered by East Herts Council and is based on your rateable value.
Applications are now open and you can apply to East Herts directly here.
In summary this is what you can expect to receive:
- If your business has a property with a rateable value of £15,000 or less, you may be eligible for a cash grant of £667 for each 14 day period your business is closed.
- If your business has a property with a rateable value over £15,000 and less than £51,000, you may be eligible for a cash grant of £1,000 for each 14 day period your business is closed.
- If your business has a property with a rateable value of £51,000 or above, you may be eligible for a cash grant of £1,500 for each 14 day period your business is closed.
