The street party event is planned for Sunday 7 May 12 – 4pm with music and entertainment on Market Square by local choirs, groups and bands, as well as stilt walkers and a Disney prince and princess walking around. You can read more about the event here.

- Are you open on Sunday 7 May and have a special coronation offer / promotion? Please let us know by Friday for inclusion in the guide for the day.
- Food & drink businesses – we will be encouraging people to stay in town to eat and drink – please tell us if you are open.

Road Closure
To safely operate the event we are closing Potter Street from the junction with Church Street though to Market Square and the junction with North Street. This is just a small stretch of road and there is an easy diversion around Church Street so the impact should be minimal. Please see full details on the letter here. Advance signage will be up to make everyone aware.
Promotion of the Event
We have been out and about with posters and flyers for the event, have some advertising in local publications such as the Axis magazine, Bishop’s Stortford Independent and the Flyer, as well as planned social posts and a campaign over the next 2 weeks. If you are able to share the event on your socials that would be amazing, and really help spread the word. Easiest way would be to share the post from our Facebook or Instagram from 24 April or download the image here and copy and paste the wording below:
