In response to public demand, we are now highlighting businesses in the town centre which are dog-friendly, baby-friendly or both.
There is now an option for you to be listed as dog-friendly and/or baby-friendly on the Discover Stortford website business directory. Please email any supporting details so we can add them to your profile. For example, baby changing facilities available, dogs allowed outside only etc.
If you’ve already signed up for the Hertfordshire breastfeeding friendly scheme please let us know. This warrants a special mention on your business profile.
In terms of dog-friendly specifically, the website now features known, dog-friendly businesses in the town centre (they have confirmed their status to us and display a window sticker to help passers by). This list will be added to as businesses confirm their status.
The directory can also be searched for dog-friendly businesses. Look under the ‘What’s Here’ tab and ‘Dog Friendly’ appears in the dropdown box. This feature will be rolled out to baby-friendly businesses once we have a confirmed list.
