Bishop’s Stortford BID is seeking the views of businesses regarding the renewal of the town centre Business Improvement District to shape a new Business Plan which will form the basis of the business priorities for the next 5 years. All current BID businesses are being asked for their thoughts, comments and ideas on the renewed BID Business Plan.
If you have not already, please submit your feedback here using this short survey.
Just a reminder, the BID is a business-led and business funded body, which was formed in 2018 to deliver a range of improvements within the town centre. There are over 300 BID across the UK and, under current law, they cannot exist for a term of longer than 5-years and are required to test business support towards them continuing to operate through a ballot of eligible voters.
The BID is a business-led and business-funded body, which means that businesses such as yours have a genuine voice, deciding and directing which extra services or activities you want for the area.
We’ve been out and about talking to lots of you and sharing information sheets to keep you posted and we’ll be launching the new Business Plan on 17 August at an early evening event, which all BID businesses are invited to come along to. Save the date, more details to follow.
Please do complete the survey if you haven’t to ensure your feedback and ideas can be taken into account when developing the new business plan.
