Easter Trail launches in the town centre

On Saturday 2 April we launched the Easter Trail in Bishop’s Stortford, and arranged for the Easter bunny to visit to help us. We had a market stall outside Waterstones in South Street for the day and gave out 200 of our brand new Discover Stortford shopping bags, as well as launching the Easter Trail event.

The Easter trail will be running over the Easter holidays until Monday 18 April and is a free activity open to all to join in. Simply pick up a leaflet outside Smiggle in Jackson Square or the Tourist Information Centre on Market Square. You’ll see a map inside to help you find all the eggs which are in shop windows across the town centre. Take a walk around and find each egg and the letter next to it. Once you have all 10 letters you’ll be able to rearrange them into a word. You can enter online to be in with a chance of winning an Easter treat bundle worth £150 which includes goodies from Hotel Chocolat, Mr Simms, Marks & Spencer, Waitrose and Sainsburys as well as a £50 Discover Stortford voucher.

To find out more see the Discover Stortford website.

Trail events are a great way to encourage footfall around the town centre area. If your shop or business would like to have something in your window for the upcoming Jubilee trail event please contact Natalie on natalie@bishopsstortfordbid.co.uk.
