Ask for Angela & Active Bystander Training

As you will be aware, the BID is working towards Purple Flag status for Bishop’s Stortford with the support of Town Council, the local police and other key stakeholders. In short, Purple Flag is the accreditation for a “safe, vibrant and welcoming night out” in a town centre.

Part of this process has involved delivering safety training to businsses with our partners at Urban Spark. See photo attached from earlier this month. Let us know here if you’re interested for the autumn.

Another important element is gathering insights from a) the general public and b) those working in Bishop’s Stortford’s evening and night-time economy (ENTE). Your perspective is vital in helping us understand what’s working well and where improvements can be made.

Can you therefore, please:

Spare a minute to answer a few questions specific to ENTE workers here

Share this email with any staff or colleagues working in the ENTE in town. The more responses received, the better the results and action taken.

Thanks in advance for your assistance and helping us maximise safety in Bishop’s Stortford.
